Your journey begins on the outskirts of the lush Sumatran rainforest, where you might spot semi-wild orangutans in their natural habitat — sometimes with playful babies swinging through the canopy above. After immersing yourself in the jungle atmosphere, enjoy a break with fresh tropical fruits, then finish the day with a fun and refreshing tubing ride down the river.

- Start your day with a chill breakfast, then get picked up by our local guide anytime between 9:00 AM and noon whatever time works best for you.
- We kick things off with a slow boat ride down the river, setting the mood before hiking gently uphill through rubber plantations. Soon you’ll reach the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park, where the real jungle begins.
- As you enter the forest, keep your eyes open — you might spot semi-wild orangutans, sometimes with their little ones hanging around up in the trees. No cages, no zoos — just nature doing its thing. These rare encounters are the kind that stick with you for life.
- After a quick break with tropical fruits, we keep moving deeper into the jungle. Along the way, you might meet long-tailed macaques, pig-tailed macaques, or even the funky-looking Thomas Leaf Monkeys swinging through the branches.
- And just when you think it can’t get better — boom — we end the day with white-water rafting on the Bohorok River. It’s fast, fun, and the perfect way to cool off after your jungle trek.
- At the end of the ride, our guide takes you back to your guesthouse tired but smiling, with epic memories of the wild side of Sumatra.
