The half day trip is designed for people who may not want to spend the whole day walking, or who don’t have the full day to spend in Bukit Lawang. We still have to see the orangutans, although there are never guarantees on any path.
Our expert guides will guide you in groups of no more than six people (unless your own group is larger than this size) to maximize the quality of your wildlife encounters. They will point out some of the many species of animals, birds and medicinal plants that you will see in the forest.

You also need to bring at least one large (1.5l) bottle of water, for each person, this you can buy locally for around $0.50.
Entrance permit to the Gunung Leuser National Park/camera tax (10 Euros/person payable to the national park office), other meals and drinks where not stated above as included, flights, visa and insurance.
