Tours six days and five nights to Bukit Lawang and Berastagi.
Travel plans
DAY 1
First day pick up from airport or from Medan hotel, drive around 3-4 hours to Bukit Lawang. drop to the accommodation, relax after the trip from Medan and spend the night at Bukit Lawang.
DAY 2
After breakfast around 7-8am get ready for a two day trek, after walking around 6-7 hours or so looking for wildlife, studying forest medicines and forest foods and how they use them. spend the night in the forest and enjoy the silence in the forest listening to the sound of the water flowing with the sound in the forest.
DAY 3
coming back from two day trip and staying in the forest by doing traditional sitting rafting through the waterway we will arrive at the guest house, In the afternoon you can take a tour of the village and visit the bat cave, and stay another night at Bukit Lawang.
Day 4
After breakfast you leave for Berastagi, on the way we will pass from under the foot of Mount Sinabung. The journey takes 5-6 hours. You will spend the night in Brastagi.
Day 5
In the morning after breakfast prepare to climb Sibayak volcano, around 3 hours you will reach the top after climbing you can also visit hot springs if you like. After visiting the Sipiso-Piso waterfall, return to the accommodation, stop at the famous fruit market. Stay one more night in Berastagi.
Day 6
Private car transportation to Medan airport or hotel journey takes around 3-4 hours.
Small backpack with change of clothes, raincoat, swimwear, small towel, small pillow, personal items, toilet paper, medicine, camera + spare battery + memory card (in a waterproof bag), insect repellent, sunscreen, flashlight, plastic bags (to put wet clothes in), sandals/flip-flops (to walk around the camp). Clothing: long sleeves/trousers are optional as there are few mosquitoes. Although the nights can be cold in the forest. Wearing something comfortable is the most important.
You will be given a 1.5L bottle of water for each person, which the guides at the camp will refill with boiled water.

5 nights stay in a luxury bungalow, trip on Sibayak volcano to see the sunrise and get around in Berastagi, private car for Medan/Bukit Lawang/Berastagi/airport transfers including petrol and driver, locker fees for luggage storage while trekking, meals (2-day breakfast, lunch, dinner, fruit, breakfast, lunch, ), guide fee, all equipment (tent, roll mat, sleeping bag), 1.5L water bottle, and traditional rafting during the trip.

Entry permit to Gunung Leuser National Park/camera tax (10 Euros/person payable to the national park office), other food and beverages not mentioned above, flights, visas and insurance.
